Global Route

Embarking on a global journey is an exciting prospect, and while the exact route need not be etched in stone, having a broad plan can provide valuable direction.   For us, the initial step was deciding the continents we aimed to explore and determining the starting point for our adventure. North America became our starting ground, with a subsequent journey through the heart of Middle and South America. Following this leg, our plan involves shipping the car to South Africa, unfolding an exploration of Africa before venturing into the diverse landscapes of the Middle East and Asia.   Our planning process involved a series of steps, with the second being an in-depth exploration of each country in chronological order. Key factors considered included climate, seasons, travel advisories, fuel and food prices, car import regulations, VISA requirements, reasons compelling us to visit each country, and the scenic routes that beckon exploration. It’s important to note that our plans underwent numerous revisions during the preparatory phase, leading to changes in the order of continents and the countries we initially intended to visit. This flexibility proved invaluable, allowing us to adapt our journey to evolving circumstances and opportunities.   As we embrace the unpredictability of the road, we remain open to future adjustments, knowing that the beauty of the journey lies not just in the destinations but in the twists and turns of the path itself.
